Keeping Silent in the Face of the Honest Expression

"I'm going to be straightforward with you here..."

"I'll be honest..."

"No disrespect but..."

"I'm sorry but..."

You have to ask yourself, are the expressions honest, or are they a distraction for the right hook?

If it is the right hook, how should you respond? Should you get angry and fire a volley of singing sarcastic remarks?

No.

Say nothing. Keep quiet.

Romance novelist Lisa Kleypas writes, "Many times in life I've regretted the things I've said without thinking. But I've never regretted the things I said nearly as much as the words I left unspoken."

Ramon B. Nuez Jr.
Over the past 4 years, I have had the extraordinary opportunity to work on several large scale campaigns, including brand ambassadorships with Fortune 100 companies like Verizon. Where I assisted in driving tech conversations online and responding to potential customers about my experience as a longtime Verizon FiOS customer. I am a serial entrepreneur. And while most of my ventures have ended in failure I continue to learn and press on. Today, I am making my journey in becoming a freelance writer and photographer. These are two passions that have always been true to me.
