Do you ever wonder how Bill Gates, Mark Cuban, Elon Musk or Warren Buffett became successful? Unfortunately, you probably think success came to these folks because they were lucky or knew the right people or were born into success.

I have, to be honest with you, that is what I thought as well. Until I read this quote from Warren Buffet, “Read 500 pages like this every day. That’s how knowledge works. It builds up, like compound interest. All of you can do it, but I guarantee not many of you will do it.”

Buffett reads. He reads allot. Warren is not the only one that credits his success to reading allot:

  • Bill Gates reads about 50 books per year.
  • Mark Cuban reads more than 3 hours every day.
  • Elon Musk is an avid reader, and when asked how he learned to build rockets, Musk explained: “I read books.”
  • Warren Buffett devotes about 80 percent of each day to reading.

What would happen if you read this voraciously? Where would you be today? Tomorrow? One year from now? How successful would your company be if you took action on the knowledge that is compounding in your head, from reading?

So I began my journey, searching for books that would allow me to build a successful. That is when I ran into Josh Kaufman and his Personal MBA system. Kaufman explains,

“MBA programs don’t have a monopoly on advanced business knowledge: you can teach yourself everything you need to know to succeed in life and at work. The Personal MBA features the very best business books available, based on over ten years and thousands of hours of research.”

I listed the 99 books below.

Additionally, I am reading Tia Lopez's book list which I believe serves to build a latttice of mental models. I hope these books will help you to master the essential business skills that will assit you in, building a successful company.

I am working on a weekly Podcast that where I will take what I have learned and applied
