Putting A Ding in The Universe

What meaning do you want your life to have?

It’s a tough question to answer because it’s a rare question. The inquiries that are normally asked of you are rather average:

  • What college are you going to?
  • What are you going to do when you graduate?
  • Are you saving your money to buy a house?

While these questions provide some usefulness, they are terrible indicators of your life’s purpose. Because the questioning subscribers to an old school of thinking, where most people are caught up in living their life.

I indorsed those questions and was quickly caught up in living my life. Now, while I was content, I began to realize that my life cannot be dictated by, "Today I got to do." I need my life to be predicated by, "Today I get to do."

So how do you start looking for the opportunities in your life? You start with asking yourself, ”What breaks my heart,” followed by these questions:

  1. Now what will you do?
  2. Who will you have to become?
  3. How will you be able to accomplish that?

Pick a quiet place. Grab a cup of coffee, a pen, a journal and take at least an hour to answer the questions. My hope is that by the end of this exercise, you will be creating a vision that will excite you into putting a ding in the Universe.
