So Hurricane Sandy hit New York City rather hard. Between flooding train stations, knocking out power to lower Manhattan and devastating Father Capodanno Boulevard in Staten Island -- it was the perfect storm. So Staten Island got beat up -- rather badly -- during Hurricane Sandy. There are over 100,000 residents without power. And there is still a great deal of flooding.
