Location
This is the Manhattan Bridge in New York City. And it was taken from my new favorite place in NYC — Brooklyn Bridge Park.
Workflow
There is something to be said about waking up at 5 AM, for work. But it’s something else entirely to wake up at 5 AM to take pictures of a bridge. Yes, you can say it — “I am certifiable!” And trust me I also question getting up this early. I mean, I am not a morning person. More like a mid-morning person. So with that said — I am not jumping for joy at 5 AM. Or do I have a smile on my face
I am more like stumbling for coffee.
So why do I do it? Why do I get up so early to capture a few dozen photos?
Blue hour.
There is simply no better time of the day than blue hour to take stunning photos. The Manhattan Bridge is a great subject. But at blue hour she becomes a work of art — that shimmers off the East River.
