One Lost Sneaker in New York’s Boerum Hill

Lost Sneeaker in New York's Boerum Hill

Location

This is simply a wonderful street garden that use shoes as potters for plants. The garden is located on Hoyt Street and Atlantic Avenue — in Brooklyn.

Workflow

I am just amazed by this street garden in Boerum Hill. I have already take a number of photos of these potters. This particular photo is of a child’s shoe. And yep you guessed it — a Tonka Trunk. This brings back so many good memories.

I know that some of you have no clue what I am referring to. And I just thank god that most of you do. At least I hope :-)

I still remember playing with my Tonka Truck into my late tweens. And still having it around until I went to college. So I had to take this photo. Seeing the truck brought put such a huge smile on my face. I did take a few more but I need to process them.

They should be up on Friday before 12:00 PM EST. So check back.
