- Camera: Nikon D5000
- Lens: Nikkor 18 – 55mm
- Exposure: 1/90 sec at f/3.5
- Tripod: None
This is a single exposure photo. Because of the angle of this capture I did not use a tripod. I did start-out by using my Oben but realized that I was not able to get a good angle.
And if Times Square is the unofficial capital of NYC then One Times Square would be the ambassador. The many names of One Times Square — including One Times Square:
- 1475 Broadway
- the New York Times Building
- the New York Times Tower
- the Times Tower
When the New York Times Building was opened in 1904, its intended use was to house the New York Times. But over the next century, 1 Times Square became host to the ever-growing and popular New Years Eve Party. The first New Years Eve Party had about 200, 000 people in attendance. Today the Times Square New Years Eve Party plays host to millions of people.
With exception to the ball, 1 Times Square as 26 electronic signs. Its only tenant is Walgreen’s – which occupies the first three floors.
